Twitter Inc has revealed its plans to collaborate with Twenty First Century Fox Inc’s Fox Sports, a move that will see the two achieve immense success in line with live streaming the FIFA World Cup soccer tournament. Reports indicate the tournament will be taking place in Russia in the course of this particular year.
The social media company has revealed that Fox Sports will be entrusted with producing the show. The plans underway are that the show will most probably be streamlined right from Moscow’s Red Square and it hopes that matters will run smoothly and if there will be any hitches- they will be at a minimum.
It is expected that previews, near real-time video highlights and recaps will be unleashed and that will be in respect to each match data and that will be in a bid to enhance the experience of all those that will be following closely on the tournament.
The company’s spokesperson said, “The coverage of the tournament, taking place from June 14 to July 15, will be available in the United States and can be seen using the @FOXsoccer Twitterhandle.
